Last Friday, July 5th, we were visited by students from the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programs (BIP) "Digital transformation of agribusiness".coordinated by Antonio Fernández Martínez, professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Almería.

This course is organized by the Delegation of the Rector for the European University UNIgreen in collaboration with the Vice-Rectorate for International Promotion of the UAL during the academic year 2023/2024. The course has been given to 30 international students of 9 nationalities from different UNIgreen member institutions in Bulgaria, Romania, Poland and Portugal, joined by students from the UAL itself.

The objective is to contribute to the promotion of the advantages of digitalization, the adoption of new technologies that improve the sustainability and profitability of farms and the resolution of problems related to food security and climate change.
