The research lines of this group focus, on the one hand, on the genetic and molecular analysis of flower induction and fruit development. A second aspect corresponds to the physiology and gene-hormone relationship of the flowering and fruiting processes. On the other hand, his studies include the biotechnological improvement of fruit quality, both in terms of flavor and life, pigment content, sugars or essential compounds.
