Visits to the farm

Last Friday we were visited by the students of the Master of Advances in Food Quality and Technology of the University of Granada, it was a pleasure to receive them at our farm! @universidadgranada #master #calidad #tecnologiaalimentaria #granada  

Today, Friday, April 23rd, we have been visited by Professor Julian Cuevas and his students of the Biotechnology Degree of the UAL. The reason for the visit was to see the cultivation of papaya, pitahaya, watermelon and later attended the talk explaining the biological control of the company Agrobío.

On February 27, we had the visit of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program and the media of the Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Agricultural Resources and the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization of Uzbekistan, whose objective was to learn about the research that is being carried out in the field of irrigation and agricultural mechanization in the country.

Yesterday we received the visit of the Ambassador of Mauritania in Spain, Boubacar Kane, together with the Chamber of Commerce of Almeria and the Vice Rector of Research of the UAL to know the "Almeria model", as well as the operation of the Foundation, the development of research being carried out with different crops such as figs, figs, vegetables, [...]

Last Friday we were visited by UAL students of the Master of Mediterranean Horticulture under greenhouse and Agronomic Engineering, showing their interest in Almeria agriculture, as well as to know the tests that are performed, pests and diseases, different structures of greenhouses, ventilation systems and irrigation head. On Wednesday, January 29, we have been visited by the professor of the University of Almeria, Carlos M. Asensio Grima together with other professors from the University of Poznan, Poland. On Tuesday, January 28, we were visited by a group of Panamanians interested in the operation of the UAL-ANECOOP Foundation itself, as well as the different types of greenhouses and crops. This visit was guided by the professor of the University of Almeria, Mr. Francisco Camacho.

On Tuesday, January 21, we were visited by a group of Japanese people from the agricultural cooperative JA Kumamoto, who were interested in different aspects of agriculture in Almeria, especially with tomato cultivation, in addition to learning about irrigation systems, fertilizers used, plant diseases and types of greenhouses.

Last Friday, September 30, the students of the Higher Degree in Landscaping and Rural Environment visited the Experimental Farm of the University of Almeria - Anecoop, where they learned firsthand the lines of research being developed in the Almeria countryside.
